Launching Your Own Business (Pike County)

Join a Launching Your Own Business workshop to learn the basic concepts of starting your own business.

Every successful business is built on a solid foundation. This class will help you: evaluate your business idea, create a sound business plan, manage expectations and increase your access to capital.

Southwest Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Business Advisors will help you:

• Identify personal objectives, skills and resources
• Describe your business idea and requirements
• Develop a sales forecast
• Identify start-up expenses
• Estimate your operating budget
• Analyze feasibility results

Participants will receive a 54-page Launching Your Own Business workbook and are invited to sign up for one-on-one, no-cost counseling with a Southwest Indiana SBDC Business Advisor.

This and all other Southwest Indiana SBDC events are for those seeking to do business in Southwest Indiana. Counties served are: Gibson, Knox, Perry, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh and Warrick.
