Event Description:
Join other young professionals for the first installment of Shaping Evansville 2018. The series focuses on projects, industries, information and education on our ever evolving community, defining Southwest Indiana today and for the future.

We will begin the series with a conversation on how Evansville is International. Our speakers will be Janette Hostettler from Toyota, Tanya Harris from Astrazeneca and Gregory Risch from Accuride. They will be discussing why they chose Evansville as a base and the benefits of an International Evansville. 

About our guests:
Janette A. Hostettler; General Manager 
Janette Hostettler joined Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana (TMMI) in July 2000 as a Specialist in Quality Engineering.  She is currently the general manager of Assembly and Conveyance as of January 3rd, 2017.
Before her current role, Janette served as the general manager of Paint, Plastics and Plant Engineering, a role she assumed in January, 2014. Prior to that, Janette served as the assistant general manager for the Quality Control Engineering team in 2011.  Her responsibilities included overseeing the quality of completed vehicle structure, both pilot and mass production, quality of supplied parts and service to shops for problem-solving support. 
Janette was the recipient of the April 2016 STEP Honoree Award and the “Diversity Journal- Women Worth Watching 2016 Award” winner. Mrs. Hostettler holds a BS in Chemistry from Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana. Janette is active in the community as a board member for Lampion Center, Evansville Philharmonic, SOAR and the Society of Women Engineers.  

Tanya Harris
Tanya has been with AstraZeneca since 2004.   She joined the Mt. Vernon location in 2014 while she was responsible for leading the transition of the recently acquired Bristol Myers Squibb site and subsequently stayed on as the Executive Director and General Manger.  She led a team of over 100+ dedicated professional to totally transition employee, financial and supply systems to the AZ standard.  Resulting in one of the best documented transitions with uninterrupted supply, solid quality and a great transition experience for all 750+ employees.  Post transition, Tanya continues transformation of the site to meet AZ’s supply standards, quality standards and cost challenges.  Developing new long term site strategy to ensure alignment with AZ’s return to growth strategy.  Estimated to result in a 50% reduction in cost of poor quality, 25% increase in customer service and 30% reduction of Cost of Goods Sold.
Tanya previously held a variety of roles within AstraZeneca including Global Supply Director where she was responsible for the respiratory portfolio and  the Head of Supply, Global External Sourcing, where she lead a global team of professionals that managed $400M in manufacturing supplies.  Tanya has outstanding reputation for her leadership and achievements as a member of the Americas Leadership Team.

Gregory Risch, President, Accuride Wheels North America Corporate Officer
Greg Risch has served as President of the Accuride Wheels North America business unit since October 2017. He has full P&L responsibility for the business, leading its steel and aluminum wheel production and tire/wheel assembly operations across the United States, Canada and Mexico, as well as its wheels engineering and product development teams. 
Previously, Risch had served for two years as President of Accuride’s then-Gunite business unit. In that role, he directed operations, engineering and sales and marketing activities for the Rockford, Ill.-based producer of Gunite®-brand brake drums, hubs, slack adjusters and other wheel end components. In 2017, Accuride integrated its Gunite and KIC wheel end component businesses into the new Accuride Wheel End Solutions business unit.
Earlier in his 23-year career with Accuride, Risch had served as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer from October 2011 to November 2015. His Finance leadership roles included Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, Director of Financial Planning and Reporting, and Assistant Controller, among others. 
He began his tenure with the company on the Finance team of its Henderson Operations steel wheel manufacturing plant in Henderson, Kentucky.
Risch earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College.
